Who we are

MICAIA UK is a charity registered, in July 2007, as an unincorporated association by the Charity Commission of the UK.

The charity has a board consisting currently of five people who represent specialist areas of knowledge including community based natural resource management, forestry, community development, research methodologies, development policy, management and finance.

MICAIA UK is run by active volunteers, including members of the Board.

One of the founding Board members of MICAIA UK, Andrew Kingman, is to be based in Mozambique working with MICAIA Foundation as MICAIA UK’s representative in Mozambique.
