Buy a brick!
In Mozambique, the MICAIA Foundation is launching a special campaign to build the MICAIA Centre in Chicamba, Manica Province. This unique facility will bring lasting benefit to thousands of farmers, and young men and women. We’re going to do it one brick at a time, and we’ll need approximately 100,000 bricks, made using a compressed earth blockmaker with which MICAIA has already built its office in Matola Rio. Adding all the other costs (roofing, windows, doors, wiring, pipes etc) means that the average cost will be $2 or Mt50 per brick.
How many bricks can you buy?
- Mt100 buys 4 bricks
- Mt500 buys 20 bricks
- Mt1,000 buys 40 bricks
